Teens can find some of the best night clubs for their specific cultural tastes at the Saint.
Although many teen night clubs have rose in popularity over the past few years to eventually shut down amid economic woes and night club ownership squabbles, there are still some New York teen night clubs. These teen hot spots cater to the ever-growing teen population in the city, as well as to its diverse cultural tastes. The night clubs focus on promoting safe, culturally diverse environments for teens to mingle, dance and just have a good time.
The Saint
The Saint, formally known as the Filmore East movie theater, is located in downtown Manhattan and is described to be one of the first 21 and under night clubs for teenagers in Manhattan (starting at 16 years of age). The Saint, which is only open to teens every Thursday nights, has a futuristic design structure and several dance floors--including a freestyle dance floor. The Saint plays assorted genres from old-school hip hop to present day rock and pop. The club features specialty alcohol-free daiquiris and finger foods at its food bar.
