Become A Sponsored Link On Google

Sponsored links are generated by Google AdWords.

If you use Google's search engine, you will notice the sponsored links that show up on the right side of the page or at the top of the search results. These are ads generated by Google AdWords. When you sign up for an account, you can create ads that will display whenever the user searches for specific keywords related to your website. You can set your own price for the ads and drive traffic to your website at an affordable price.

Instructions

1. Visit the Google AdWords website and click on "Start Now." Select whether you already have an account with Google and if you want to use your existing account to set up Google AdWords.

2. Sign in with your existing email address, or provide a new one and choose a password. Fill in the CAPTCHA information (those odd, distorted letters) and press "Create Account." Provide your mobile number if you choose, so you can retrieve your password information should you ever lose it.

3. Set your preferences for currency and time zone. You won't be able to change these settings after you set up your account, so be sure to double check before continuing.

4. Click on the "Sign in to your AdWords account" link and press the "Create Your First Campaign" button. Select a campaign name, language, and the location you want to target.

5. Choose whether you want to manage the bids manually or set up automatic bidding. Set your maximum Cost Per Click. This refers to how much you are willing to pay for each click on your ad.

6. Include additional business information in your ad. This includes your business location, phone number, or links to sections of your website.

7. Use the advanced settings to schedule your ad's start and end dates, as well as the frequency of its rotation.

8. Write the ad by filling in the headline, a two-line description, and the URL. Enter 10 to 20 keywords for your site. This helps you get targeted traffic to click on your ad.

9. Set up your billing profile and select whether you want to make payments manually or have them automatically drafted. If you have a promotional code, click on the "Enter it Here" link. You may have a promotional code if your hosting company gave you free Google AdWords credit. If you're not sure, check your hosting account and any mail they send to you.

10. Agree to the terms and conditions. Press the "Submit and Activate My Account" button. If you chose automatic payment, your ad will begin immediately. If not, it will begin when you make a payment.
