Have Your Baby Appear In Commercials Or Magazines

Child models are featured in magazines and television commercials.

If you have a future model crawling or waddling around your home, there is no reason to avoid taking a shot at modeling. A few steps are needed before a child will be considered for a part in television or magazines. Have a professional photographer take headshots and full body shots of your baby. These photographs are used to submit to companies seeking child models for commercials and magazine features.

Instructions

1. Schedule a photo shoot with a professional photographer who has a background in headshots for modeling purposes. When you make the appointment let him know that these shots are for modeling purposes. Arrive early to the shoot and get the baby ready for the first round of photographs. Bring a few different clothing changes for your baby. Allow the photographer to take many different poses of your child in each outfit for better selection.

2. Review the photos and choose the best one. Take the chosen photo to a printing company that prints modeling composite cards. Include your babies name printed at the bottom of each card. Print enough cards to last you a while.

3. Write a letter or resume-type document with your babies information on it. If your child has any history of beauty pageants or modeling include it in the document. Include your child's age, weight, and height. Include your telephone number and your name as the contact person.

4. Attach the modeling card to the information sheet. Search for casting calls or modeling agencies. Parents magazine hold contests for the cutest babies every year. The Great American Photo Contest and The Cute Kid offer submissions for your child on a monthly basis.

5. Watch the newspapers for casting calls. National modeling agencies often tour the country seeking babies for commercials or magazines. Bring your baby along to the events with a few copies of the modeling card and information sheet.
