Create Cheap Promotional Items For My Ministry

Ministers and pastors all have to promote their ministry.

For evangelists, traveling ministers or worship pastors who are just starting their career in ministry, getting the word out is essential to making your ministry work. After all, you cannot have a ministry without people listening to you. Large-scale ministries often started exactly where you are starting; trying to promote what you do and your particular ideals. There are many ideas that you can use to make some cheap, promotional items for your ministry to help you get a jump start.

Instructions

1. Write and print off some promotional tracts. These are small cards or brochures that list who exactly you are and what your ministry is about. Include your name, a little about yourself, your qualifications and the general ideas of what you endorse and believe. Print these out on a sheet of paper that can easily be distributed to people that you see on the street, in the store or at the gas station.

2. Burn copies of one of your best sermons or songs on inexpensive CDs. Put them in jewel cases or paper-CD cases to be handed out to people that you see. This gives those people an idea of the kinds of things that you preach about as well as your ministry style and ability as a speaker. Cheap CDs can be bought in bulk but typically only hold about 30-60 minutes of play time, so make sure whatever sermon you burn is small enough to fit.

3. Combine the CD and the tract to hand out in small packets. Bring them to local churches and social hubs to hand out to passersby. This will help get the word out about your ministry without spending much money at all. The only money that you will spend is on purchasing the CDs and printing off the tracts if you do not do this at home.
