Carnations

Poinsettias

Despite the urban legend, poinsettias are not poisonous according to the University of Illinois, and $220 million worth of them are sold during the Christmas season. Poinsettias are the most popular Christmas plant, but keep in mind that most of them are sold in the six weeks prior to the holiday.
