Pub Culture
Treat yourself to one pint (or several) at one of London's many historic pubs. For example, literary types should enjoy the history of The Dove, a pub in Hammersmith that boasts Graham Greene and Ernest Hemingway as former clientele.

See a play in the London's West End theater district. Some of the largest theaters in the West End include the Victoria Palace Theatre, the London Palladium and the Apollo Victoria Theater.

Splurge on a nice meal. London boasts some of the top (and most expensive) restaurants in the world. Check out one of the restaurants of London's top chefs, such as Gordon Ramsay and Jamie Oliver.
If you want good food in a more laid-back atmosphere, visit one of London's gastropubs, which serve excellent cuisine in a pub setting.
London Under the Stars
Go for a romantic evening stroll along the south bank of the Thames River. Enjoy the reflection of the moon on the water and the historic and modern contrasts of the skyline, such as Westminster Abbey and the bright lights of the London Eye, Europe's largest Ferris wheel.
Friday Night Skate
Friday Night Skate is a weekly rollerblade event in which hundreds of skaters hit the streets of London accompanied by music. The rollerbladers move fast, so participating in this event is not recommended for slow or novice skaters. Check the Friday Night Skate website for meeting times and weekly routes.
