Buy tickets early to get the best seating at the best price.
Getting seats in the venue section you want is no longer as difficult as it used to be. You can purchase tickets to an upcoming concert online from Ticketmaster, the venue, ticket brokers or from other ticket outlets that are selling seats for your particular event. You can purchase up to four pre-sale tickets and six tickets after the public ticket sales begin with Ticketmaster.
Instructions
1. Visit the Ticketmaster website. Set up a user account now or begin searching for shows that interest you and set up an account only if you decide to buy tickets.
2. Search for shows based on location, genre or artist. Once you find a concert to attend, look through the tour dates and cities to find a location near you.
3. Click "Find Tickets" next to the concert date and location you chose.
4. Select how many tickets you want to buy and the price per ticket you will pay, or click the drop-down menu and select "Any Price."
5. Use the color-coded seating chart on the right to select the section seats you are interested in, or leave the "Best Available" option marked.
6. Click "Find Tickets" to see all tickets available that meet your criteria. If the tickets that come up do not meet your needs, go back and search again using different criteria. Once the seats are found, a timer will appear on your screen giving you about five minutes to make a decision and fill out any forms. Time is added as you continue from screen to screen.
7. Select your tickets and choose the delivery method. According to the Ticketmaster website, you can pick the tickets up at a retail outlet or get them at will call at the event.
8. Create a Ticketmaster user account when prompted. You will be asked to provide your name, email address, zip code, country of residence and a user account password.
9. Click "Continue" and enter your credit or debit card information.
10. Complete the billing address form.
11. Submit your order and print the confirmation receipt.
12. Pick up your tickets at will call or at a retail outlet with the printed receipt and a photo ID.
