Famous Graphic Design Companies

Graphic design companies help polish product appeal and marketability.

Whether based in one office, or hundreds, whether online, on plastic cups or up in lights -- designs, graphics, branding and logos are all around us, but who, exactly, are the designers behind the brand? Two, perhaps more familiar, names of graphic designers are Harvey Ball, who created the iconic black and yellow smiley face, and Milton Glaser, designer of the "I (heart) NY" shirt. But who are the top graphic design companies?

Chase Design Group

American graphic designer Margo Chase had initial intentions of delving into the world of animals and biology until graphic design swooped her off her feet. In 1986 she founded the company Chase Design Group, whose staff has gone on to work for such companies as Dreamworks, Disney Consumer Products, Fox Searchlight Pictures, Hard Rock Cafe, Madonna, Reebok, Starbucks, Universal Pictures and much more.

A snippet of Interbrand's client lists showcases names such as AT&T, Canon, Dunkin' Donuts, McDonalds, Knorr and Wrigley, to name a few.

Landor

With over 20 offices across the world, Landor was founded by Walter Landor, who had originally founded Industrial Design Partnership. Landor has gone on to create logos and branding for Crest 3D White Whitestrips, Coors Light, Evian, FedEx, Frito-Lay, YWCA and hundreds more.
