Marketing Launch Ideas

When launching a new product, you'll need innovative marketing ideas.

When launching a new service or product, it's important to find creative marketing strategies because they're essential to gaining new customers. When developing marketing ideas, consider who the target audience is for your products. For example, if you just opened an organic meat store, set up a kiosk at a local food convention, where you can talk with attendants about why your store is important, the types of meats your store will offer and prices.

Promotions Party

One way to launch a new product or service is by holding a promotions party in which you give potential customers information and discounts on your products. If you own a hair salon that specializes in braiding and dreadlocks, invite the community to attend the grand opening and offer a percentage off the original prices of certain hairstyles. Have free snacks along with some upbeat music.

Fundraisers

You can also launch your new products at local fundraisers. For example, if you have a new line of wigs for cancer patients, donate a few of the wigs to nonprofit organizations who assist cancer patients with rebuilding their lives. Meet with the fundraising coordinators and discuss the nature and relevance of your product. The coordinators can then offer the wigs to attendants at the fundraiser and the proceeds will go to the organizations.

Store Demonstrations

One of the best ways to launch a new product is to hold an in-store demonstration because it gives you access to more potential customers and you're able to explain in more detail why your products are a good choice for them. If you just started a line of multiculturally designed baby clothing and you live in an ethnically diverse neighborhood, hold demonstrations in local clothing stores. Set up a decorated table and put out clothing that represents various cultures. Offer discounts to customers.
