Diy Day Planner Pages

DIY Day Planner Pages

You can make your own day planner pages by following some simple strategies on your own computer. It is easy to use a prefabricated online source for a day planner and then fill out your own information, which you can do for free. You can also start from scratch and make one that is completely your own.

Find a Template

Make a DIY day planner by finding a template that you like and downloading it onto your computer. There are several places to do this, including Modern Media Mom, Smart Copy, or Vertex 42. At each of these sites, you can customize your own planner to include times, dates and places to make lists. Then you can download the files, print them and put them together with staples, brads or paper clips. Or, you can leave them on your computer and fill them out as you would like.

DIY Planners

You can also make DIY planner sheets on your computer or by hand. To make them on the computer, open up a program like Excel or Word, or another program that is similar. On the left hand side, list the hours of the day, starting with when your day begins, and ending with when your day typically ends. You can also put these hours along the top of the page. Leave the section to the right, (or below), the hours blank. Make a small line for the date at the top of the page. Print out several of these and staple them together. Then, you can write in the day and write things to remember on each of the hours. If you write small, you can probably leave the entire left hand side of the page free, in which you can make a daily list of things to do.

You can also make a DIY day planner completely by hand, without using any computers. Find a notebook, sketchbook, or any type of book that has blank pages. Then, starting with the first page, label it by day. You might write the days of the week and the date, or simply the date. It is up to you whether you'd like to include weekends as two days on one sheet, or whether you need a sheet for them. Then, when you use the day planner, you can simply write lists of things that need to be done on each of the days. Include specific times if needed, such as "dentist 1 p.m." Cross off things as you finish them, and if you don't get them done, move them to the next day's sheet.
