2. After starting, you need to decide where you want to begin affiliate marketing. What is affiliate marketing anyway? It is when you market another person's product, all you do is provide a link to it and once a person clicks on it and purchases it, you get a percent of the sale.
You have no inventory, you have no expense related to the purchase except maybe where you post your affiliate links such as blogs, website etc.
Do you have a blog, do you write about something? Do you have a website you write about bands and music? You can start adding links to products in your writing.
Do not go crazy adding links to everything. You might try to oversell something you may not even use and your readers know it. You've probably seen parked website like this where on google you search and find these website.
3. Providing value. You need to do this, period. There are many bloggers out there who write, write and write, with no value given. While the successful bloggers, earning 6 figures + a year, usually write something which brings value to the readers. These readers trust these writers, and these writers know trust is hard to earn and harder to keep.
You might write about books you have read, write a review for them and post an affiliate link inside your article. You provide your insight about a book you think might help others and if your reader decides to purchase from the link you provide, you both win.
4. There are many places to find products to market. Many of these products you've heard of and maybe even use. You will need to sign up for these places, one of the biggest places for affiliate marketing, Amazon.com.
You can link to any of their products as an affiliate and if someone purchases, you will make a percent of those sales. Amazon is a trusted place, it is not very difficult to provide a product off their website.
