Promote Parties

Where’s the party? This is the questions on millions of lips every Friday night. What does it take to be the 'go to person' whenever a party happens? Many people have made a living by becoming successful party promoters.

Instructions

1. Develop a street team or a group of well connected people for word of mouth promotion. Depending on the type of party, most partygoers depend on the word of mouth from trusted friends or well known party people. Find outgoing people that love to talk to strangers and feed them the information that needs to be delivered. Send them to strategic spots like other parties or clubs where people are looking for the next party.

2. Hand out flyers at concerts. Usually when a concert ends, fans are looking for a venue to continue the excitement from the concert. Create flashy flyers with a little desktop publishing know how and wait for concert goers to exit from the concert.

3. Advertise in print, TV and online media. The size of the party will dictate how large the advertising campaign becomes. Small parties only require a few banners on local websites and signs outside the party venue. Larger parties may include a month long media blitz that includes magazine ads, television commercials and entire sites dedicated to proving party information.

4. Find event planners. Certified event planners are always looking for people and organizations that can get the word out. Develop a rapport with several event and party planners and know when and where every important party is occurring.

5. Be consistent. In order to promote parties successfully, know where the party is at all times. Knowing one week and being out of the loop the next week will not instill confidence from regular party goers. They will want a one stop shop that is always reliable.
